Dominica to Sint Maarten!
Flying to Sint Maarten!
Whew! Made it to the airport on time!
Tons of last-minute adjustments, that's part of the deal. Not even sure about this plan. Ditching my ticket for Saint Lucia, which I officially had to buy to get into Dominica. From what I've seen and heard, Saint Lucia is basically the same as Dominica but more expensive. Doesn't sound that interesting. So instead I'm going to Sint Maarten in the Dutch Antilles!
I'd wanted to go to the Dutch Antilles for a while now. I even passed through the Sint Maarten airport briefly on the way to Dominica! I'd thought of omitting that then going to Aruba/Curacao later. Now glad/grateful to go to Sint Maarten! Maybe a positive side effect of the COVID fascism?
A hilarious irony of the COVID fascism is that this supposed "respiratory" illness has probably had far more breathing problems caused by the regulations. People wearing their idiotic slave masks for hours on end, constricting billions of people's breathing. The virus itself is basically trivial and may even have long-term benefits! :)
Had some spare change left over on the way out of Dominica. Not many other places use this currency (East Caribbean dollar). Bought a bit of "bois bande" rum in the airport, and some peanuts and raisins.
Woke up at like 1 or 2 am. I suck at waking up early, and I don't like it when flights or even jobs depend on it. I'd rather stay up through much of the night instead of accidentally oversleeping and missing a flight.
A bunch of coffee should fix that! :)

Never mind the Bermuda triangle, all of the Caribbean seems to have engulfed me! I've spent years here, far longer than I'd expected or planned. That's life I guess! :)
