Continuing to travel in New Orleans, I'm meeting lots more interesting people, and trying new activities.
Yesterday, while couchsurfing across the river, I met a cool couple, who produce the writing website Coastery. A collaborative writing project, it has some commonality with TaleWOW. Check it out!
I feel like travel changes a person, whether it's a geographic trip, a mental trip, or some other kind of trip.

A lot to learn. I feel like a big city introduces all kinds of complexities, with interesting and surprising results. So many people doing so many things in so many ways in so many places. At times it can become quite stressful, although cities often also have convenient relaxing places with some greenery. In particular, in New Orleans there are some really gorgeously beautiful jungly foresty wetlands environments.
And the animals here are so cool.
