A beautiful time in Chicago, great city, what a wonderful summer.
Here, after staying with the Jesus People, I spent the weekend with a group of cyclists. We had originally met in New Orleans, crossing paths while doing different touring. One of them is a nuclear engineer, another a biologist. We went to a cyclocross event, it's a really popular sport in the Midwest, kind of like mountain biking when you don't live near any mountains.
Had some deep-dish Chicago style pizza, Chicao-style dog, Chicago-style Italian beef sandwich, etc.
Now, time to move on.
