Carl Perkins invented rockabilly here in Jackson, Tennessee!!! :)

Earlier this week, riding away from Nashville, a pickup truck pulls over. Offers me a place to stay for the night. We drive back to a beautiful country home. I stay a couple of nights, swimming in the river, watching the Perseid meteor showers, etc. They also fed me well and gave me an iPhone!
Rode on.
On my way to Memphis. Meeting more travelers and locals.

So that's like two laptops in two weeks. First one was kinda my fault, for spilling water on it. Second one just spontaneously stopped working. Now at a library, using a public computer. Hopefully fix or replace the last one again soon!

Nashville is a really beautiful city, lots of green areas and well-designed buildings and roads, easy to get around. The people here are really friendly. This city has lots of music flowing out, as well as a cool culture. Great place!

I'm going to Jackson, Memphis, and many more places in Tennessee, USA, and beyond!
