Made it to Lexington! Beautiful college town, amazingly scenic ride through the gently rolling hills, lots of horses everywhere, and really friendly people!

During my travels I've seen lots of signs for Safe Place. It turns out this national organization is based here in Louisville, Kentucky.

It's really beautiful here. Lots of lovely forest. The famous Louisville Slugger baseball bat comes from here. Also KFC. And whisky.
I noticed they have all-electric buses, which I haven't seen before.
