Made it to the Tampa Bay Area!!! :)
Now in Dunedin, Florida, a charming town on the beach, with a bike trail that extends for miles.

After lots of riding, it feels great to arrive here. The people are fantastic, it's a more culturally liberal place than a lot of Florida to the north of here. There also seem to be a fair number of older residents, who come here for the sun and sea. Overall, a very peaceful and beautiful place.
Rock & Roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Rumi-nations

My friend Jamil just posted some thoughts on Rumi about physicality. For a different take, you can check out his new post here:

Rumi was a 13th century Persian scholar, mystic, jurist, and poet... I couldn’t even find this poem online, or in the pdf version, so it must be a rarer poem in this expanded edition of the book, and had to be transcribed from the book. I recommend ‘The Essential Rumi’ to any seeker or mystic on the path...
The Freedom of a Place...
If you put shoes that are too tight
and walk out across an empty plain
you will not feel the freedom of the place
unless you take off your shoes.

Cuba in a Nutshell

Cuba in a Nutshell @ Culture Whiz:

Cuba is a country in the Caribbean, occupying its own large island, as well as smaller nearby islands. The country's position just off the coast of Florida and near neighboring Caribbean islands has produced a highly unique nation. In famous Havana or elsewhere around the island, strains of tropical music mix with Spanish colonial history, revolutionary politics, and a globally relevant culture.
