The boy could see many other strange things under the sea. There were seaweeds and sea urchins, sea slugs and mermaids, octopuses galore, spiky animals with many eyes and scary sea creatures who had giant teeth and seemed to walk on the sea floor. Some creatures were clear and others had remarkable colors or imitated other animals or even glowed. An electric eel swam by, zapping the boy like lightning!
