But where was the gold deposit? Jarvax had stashed a pool of liquefied gold here once, in this park. The annotation remained, to be sure, so to Jarvax's visual awareness it looked like it was still there -- from no matter which angle he viewed it. Yet, kicking the sparkling puddle of gold, his foot flew right through...
